Dr. Juan Diego Samudio
Dr. Juan Diego Samudio studied Medicine at the Universidad Autónoma de Chiriquí (UNACHI) from 2017 to 2022. He completed his medical internship across several institutions, including the Complejo Hospitalario Dr. Arnulfo Arias Madrid, with rotations at Hospital Irma de Lourdes Tzanetatos and Hospital de Especialidades Pediátricas, followed by a second year at Hospital Regional Dr. Rafael Hernández in the province of Chiriquí.
Dr. Samudio's interest in regenerative medicine began during his medical studies, while researching autoimmune diseases and encountering early research on stem cell therapy as a potential option for patients with difficult-to-manage conditions. That discovery shaped his continued focus on autoimmune and degenerative diseases — areas he considers to hold significant potential for patients who haven't found relief through conventional treatment. He is particularly interested in evidence-based peptide therapies and the expanding clinical use of mesenchymal stem cells for complex conditions.
At BioGenesis, Dr. Samudio works alongside Dr. Raúl Moreno, Dr. Bolívar Franco, and the full clinical team to support the evaluation and care of patients pursuing regenerative treatment, with a continued focus on evidence-based practice and measurable patient outcomes.
